Do you have lipedema?

Do you sometimes suffer from unexplained pain in your arms or legs, have you noticed unusual fat deposits or feel that diet and exercise are not giving you the results you want? These can all be signs of lipedema, a chronic condition. Lipedema causes disproportionate fat distribution and often leads to pain and a number of other symptoms in the affected areas. This disease almost exclusively affects women and is often misdiagnosed or even overlooked. But how do you recognise lipedema and what do you do if you suspect you have it? Take the self-test now!

How does the lipedema self-test work?

Our lipedema self-test includes questions about various symptoms, such as fat distribution on the legs and arms, sensitivity or painfulness of the affected areas, as well as possible accompanying symptoms. Your answers will be assessed and give an indication of whether you might have lipedema.

However, the self-test can never replace a professional diagnosis by an experienced doctor and is only intended to serve as an initial guide.

✓… document your symptoms and observations.

✓… take the lipedema self-test to get an initial assessment.

✓… make an appointment for a professional diagnosis and consultation with an experienced lipedema specialist.
