LIPOCOACH®
As a former lipedema patient, our LIPOCOACH® provides emotional support and is happy to pass on her experience to you.
Liposuction
We treat all areas. Depending on the findings, we clarify with you which areas (including combined areas) we can treat in your particular case. Our approach: As few surgeries as possible – and only as many as absolutely necessary.
Anaesthesia
We use general anaesthesia instead of local anaesthetics – this allows us to gently remove significantly more fat cells in one surgery.
Compression garments
You will be fitted with a girdle directly in the operating theatre to provide you with the best possible support for your recovery.
Take Care Bag
We will give you everything you need for post-operative care, including: a private practice sick note, prescriptions for painkillers and iron, glucose, leakage protection and more.
Aftercare
We are also there for you after your liposuction – your surgeon can be reached night and day in case of an emergency, and we always offer several follow-up appointments.
LIPOPHYSIO®
Our LIPOPHYSIO® lymphatic drainage begins the day after your surgery. Important advice and tips on how to positively influence your wound healing are included.
Overnight stay
We will make your post-operative stay in our comfortable partner clinics in Munich and Münster as pleasant as possible.
24/7 care
Our LIPOTEAM is there for you holistically and watches over your well-being around the clock during your stay with us. Medically, you will be cared for by our competent medical specialists.
Food Service
Your physical well-being is taken care of in every way. In addition to medical care, you will receive delicious and nutritious meals and drinks so that you can recover optimally and quickly regain your strength.
Infusion therapy
During the operation, the anesthesiologist will ensure that the loss of volume due to massive suctioning can be compensated for via a venous access and that the circulation remains stable.
Heating mattress
To avoid hypothermia during the operation, you will be placed on a special warming mattress. Separate comfortable warming is provided to the areas that are not to be treated.
Our initial consultation includes a detailed explanation of all aspects of lipedema and liposuction for lipedema, a thorough (ultrasound) examination, detailed information and medical history as well as photo documentation. We take enough time to discuss all questions and wishes with you in all serenity and in a protected space. Of course, a second consultation is also possible.
The following services are included in the initial consultation:
For patients with statutory health insurance, we charge a fee of € 70 for the in-depth initial consultation or € 20 for telephone counselling / online counselling. A potentially required second consultation is already included in the fee. Since LIPOCURA® is a private clinic, these costs are usually not covered by statutory health insurance. In some cases, patients with private health insurance can apply to have the costs covered by their health insurance company.
Please note that we have to charge a cancellation fee for appointments that are not cancelled in time. This fee is € 30 for cancellations less than 48 hours before the consultation.
Do you already know our guidebook on the subject of lipedema? You will receive the book worth € 29.80 free of charge with our initial consultation at home.
The cost depends on the degree of lipedema, the areas to be treated and the number of liposuctions to be performed. We therefore determine the costs for the holistic treatment during the initial consultation and after a thorough examination. You will receive a transparent cost proposal without hidden fees.
Benefit from our holistic treatment. Our experienced LIPODOCS have the greatest corrective expertise in previous surgeries; thanks to the latest techniques, we can treat all areas and also remove up to 10% of the body weight in one operation.
The surgery fees are to be transferred 4 weeks before the surgery. Please note that we have to charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the total OP costs for cancellations less than 4 weeks before the surgery.

The special feature of LIPOCURA®: Our prices are quoted as total costs. This means that – in contrast to what is often the case – anesthesia and inpatient overnight stays are already included. This means that our patients do not incur any hidden costs. Your care and satisfaction are our highest priority. We take special care of your needs.
Our clinic costs include a comprehensive treatment and care package for you – anesthesia, overnight stay, food and drinks, 24/7 care and much more.
Liposuction for lipedema is not a cosmetic operation. If you have medical confirmation that the removal of the diseased fat cells is medically indicated, the costs can be recognized by the tax office as an extraordinary burden. In order to obtain a tax refund, you can therefore submit an application to the tax office. Questions on this topic? We will be happy to help.
In some cases, it is now possible for privately insured patients to have their costs covered by health insurance. For patients with stage III lipedema, for example, it is possible to bill the treatment as a health insurance benefit, provided certain conditions are met. This decision by the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) is initially limited until the end of 2024.
